On the banks of the Goulburn River within the Nagambie Lakes

Our primary site is 100 acres nestled on the banks of the Goulburn River within the Nagambie Lakes, a sub-region of the Goulburn Valley (GI).

Established in 1969 with the spectrum of classic Rhone and Bordeaux varieties, the site has been rejuvenated to incorporate a specific selection of Iberian varietals ideally suited to the site and display an ability to provide unique fruit character and equally enchanting wines.

Soil is key to the ability to grow healthy vines, premium fruit and great wines. The Nagambie Lakes region is blessed with incredible textured sandy red clay loams over free draining soil. Soil profile, aspect, elevation and meso-climates creates diversity across the site and access to premium fruit across vintages when combined with careful clonal selections.

Practicing sustainable approaches to vineyard management we manage yields to consistently deliver fruit with great intensity and natural acidity that embodies the vineyards terroir and nuances of the growing season.
